ANNOUNCING THE CASSIOPEDIA PROJECT

• To provide a large body of work that represents, as closely as possible, Truth. Truth is defined as "that which maps to reality".
• To make this encyclopedia a popular and well-known reference
• To provide detailed, reliable and objective information
• To treat uncensored and censored topics with equal balance
• To make it understandable by any normal individual

The scope :

• Cassiopedia is a general encyclopedia and therefore seeks to present objective knowledge in any field and about any topic.
• In order to transmit knowledge, Cassiopedia uses complementary multimedia solutions (text, pictures, charts, movies, audio recordings, specific software...)
• Cassiopedia is open to any reader and therefore uses the most simple vocabulary and phrasing

The values :

• objectivity - Cassiopedia is not serving any individual interest, its ambition is to be as close as possible to truth, thus Cassiopedia treats normal and also sensitive topics. Unbiased scientific approach is applied to maximise objectivity
• accessibility - Cassiopedia seeks to be understood by anyone thus it avoids excessively complex words, uselessly long sentences, overuse of adjectives and adverbs, access is free
• exhaustive - Cassiopedia aims to treat any possible topic
• detailed - for any topic, Cassiopedia aims to maximize the quality and the quantity of information provided
• transparency - editing processes are transparent dynamics, involving fair and objective discussions, arbitrages and decisions

Development strategy :

1/ mirror universe - copying the reference (Wikipedia) with one single difference : editing rules (no censorship, objectivity instead of neutrality)

2/ attraction - this differentiation will attract (some of) the editors that have long been frustrated with the censorship of the Wikipedia, as well as it's clear biases.

3/ differentiation of the branched universe - along with the editing process, the provided definitions will start to evolve differently from the initial source (Wikipedia)

4/ individuation of the branched universe - progressively sensible topics (psychopathy, STO VS STS, hyperdimensional realities,...) will be added and developed

Some principles :

• initiating a virtuous circle : the first positive results should attract new workers that will enhance the further results,...
• starting nodes come from the core competencies of the current team (Gurdjieff, Zionism, psychopathology, comparative religions, Mouravieff, Fourth Way,...)
• two complementary development vectors: number of articles and articles contents/depth
• starting with a lot of topics even if they are not totally filled
• using existing free resources to treat non-sensitive topics
• using existing resources in the SOTT glossary and related sites for some other topics
• stimulate / support collective dynamics allowing massive knowledge input
• distribute tasks between copiers, editors, spelling checkers, ...
• keep the work consistent through objective discussions (dedicated workgroup CassResearch)

The methods

• All editors will be registered ones
• Use network for arbitrage, sensitive cases and needs expression (CassResearch)
• Create "documented" link bewteen referenced entities (X writer of the Y book that quotes Z)
• Any published page must be checked first (grammar, tags, templates,...)
• If a free, objective and satisfying definition already exists, let's not re-create it. It will be imported / linked
